Occasional Reflections, Etc.

I've never been especially in the front of the curve.  Well that's not entirely true; I was one of the first people any of us knew who owned a Palm Pilot.  Version 1.  But that's ancient history; we try to embrace technology even as it morphs, at high speed, every week and month.  And still I find my clients very tentative about the necessity of joining the world of social media - but that's another, longer, conversation. 

This blog will be my own musings on things I feel passionate about:  design, the built environment and urban planning, social welfare, environmental responsibility.  Plus a few things that are just plain fun - you can't omit that. (Hence this photo of my nephew Lewis, above.  Need I say more?)

In the best case, I hope that checking in to this blog will prove to be informative, delightful, surprising.

Or, as one of my favorite tin buttons used to say, "Fuck Art. Let's dance."
